Our Technology: Trapped Ions
Inspired by the transport of water molecules in naturally occurring proteins, Aquaporins, we have
invented a novel, simple, and low-cost method to trap ions inside artificial water channels.
NeuTantrix is developing a non-invasive, forehead-worn neuro-monitoring patch designed to support longitudinal tracking of brain-signal patterns relevant to neurodegenerative disease. The platform is built on two granted U.S. patents to Sushanta Mitra and is being advanced through staged validation (bench proof-of-concept → phantom testing → pilot human feasibility). Our goal is to translate repeatable physiological signal patterns into usable monitoring insights with modern analytics—without requiring a traditional EEG setup. The technology is currently in research and development and is not yet clinically validated or available for medical use.
